What is gel polish?

Gel polish — or ‘gel’ as the pros call it — refers to polish that can be cured under UV or LED light.

Designed to last longer, gel polish is less prone to chipping and lifting than normal nail polish. In fact, it’s so resistant to chemicals that gel polish remover is completely ineffective, meaning gel polish needs to be professionally removed using pure acetone.
