This award is not just a win for The GelBottle, but also a celebration of our collective journey. When Daisy Kalnina founded TGB, she set out to challenge the status quo by creating a brand that stood for innovation, quality and a commitment to healthier, more beautiful nails.
Daisy has now seen her business grow to become a globally renowned industry leader, operating in over 30 countries and having painted over 2 billion sets of nails since the brand’s inception.
TGB’s 2023 Innovations
1. HEMA-FREE BIAB™
Made in the UK, the launch of our HEMA-Free BIAB™ range was a significant milestone in our commitment to providing a range of high-quality products to cater to every client.
HEMA is the most commonly used photoinitiator in gel polish products; it plays a vital role in allowing for quick and efficient curing of nail polish under UV or LED light. However, because of its extended use in gel polish systems, it is the most common (but not the only) allergen. Recognising the growing demands for alternatives for clients with sensitivities to HEMA, we invested in extensive research and development to formulate a HEMA-Free BIAB™ formula.
Just like the original TGB BIAB™ the new HEMA-Free BIAB™ range can be used for natural nail overlays or to strengthen the nail and help reinforce the apex, preventing breaking of the nail.
2. TGB TOOLS
The 4-piece TGB Tools Range offers a precise and comfortable nail treatment. Each tool has been ergonomically designed to be comfortable to use and comes coated with hygienic and surgical grade titanium nitride, in a luxurious champagne finish. We tested multiple thicknesses to ensure the optimum hold for each tool, whilst fine-tuning the size, shape and length of all the cutting surfaces for the perfect mix of precision and power.
3. PROFORM™
ProForm™ is the ultimate, durable, HEMA-Free extension system. Create gel & acrylic hybrid nail extensions with this file-off, non-drip formula. Providing the strength of acrylic with the ease of a gel in a user-friendly tube, ProForm™ will help you to reach new nail heights (literally). Paired with Bond Base and Glow Top, you can cater to every client with HEMA-Free sets from start to finish.
